Three hospitalized in Edinburg CISD bus accident

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident that left three Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District staff members hospitalized.

Edinburg CISD spokesperson Lisa Ayala said the accident involved a school bus and a pick-up truck at the intersection of Rogers and McColl Road shortly after 3 p.m.

Ayala confirms the bus driver and two bus monitors were transported to local hospitals for evaluation.

There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident.
