STC hosts graduation ceremony for GED recipients

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Today dozens of students at South Texas College took the next step in their education and received their GED's.

This summer, nearly 100 students completed the STC general education diploma program.

It is meant for students who did not finish high school and decided to go back.

STC leaders, faculty staff and loved ones of the graduates gathered for the special day.
