Spectrum recruiting 400 employees at new call center in Pharr

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A new Spectrum call center facility in Pharr is looking to hire 400 employees to assist customers nationwide.

The new 48,000 square-foot building will house retention representatives who provide bilingual over-the-phone support for their video, internet, voice and mobile customers.

The Pharr location is now the third Spectrum call center facility in the Rio Grande Valley and the 12th location in Texas.

"The people and overall environment in the Rio Grande Valley have proven to be a perfect fit for us," said Gabriella Ponce, Vice President for Spectrum. "We're adding to an already strong presence in the Rio Grande Valley because we know we can count on a talented local workforce."

Representatives in Pharr are estimated to earn $50,000 per year and offers benefits including health, medical, dental and vision coverage.

Spectrum also offers employees a retirement plan with a 401(k) plus a Retirement Accumulation Plan.

Spectrum will be hosting an Onsite Sales Hiring Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday August 8 at the new call center located on 1300 Maco Drive in Pharr.
