Richard Moore Outdoor Report sneak peek: Return of Brown Pelicans

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — This week Richard Moore's Outdoor Report is specializing in the return of brown pelicans with a 30 minute special.

Brown pelicans can be found on the Lower Laguna Madre or South Padre Island diving for fish or resting on weathered docks.

However, during the late 1960s brown pelicans were considered almost extinct in Texas and by 1970 they were listed in the federal endangered list.
