“With the participation of experts from the public and private sectors of both countries, this forum will foster analysis, discussion and synergies in terms of innovation in initiatives, public policy and partnerships to achieve environmental sustainability along with sustainable economic development in the region,” a NADBank press release states.
“It will also spotlight actions undertaken by various officials, communities and companies to address the challenges of water stress, water conservation in food value chains, innovation in mobility and the circular economy, as well as financial strategies and access to funding for infrastructure development in the region.”
The two-day event will feature around 35 distinguished panelists from both countries, including keynotes from the Chihuahua Governor María Eugenia Campos Galván; San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg; former U.S. ambassador to Mexico Antonio O. Garza (2000-2009); former Mexican ambassador to the U.S. Gerónimo Gutiérrez Fernández (2017-2018); Tania Ortiz Mena, president of SEMPRA Infrastructure; Javier Treviño Cantú, senior vice president of corporate affairs of Walmart Mexico and Central America; Bernardo Martínez, vice president of corporate affairs of Constellation Brands Mexico; Alejandra Vázquez Langle, global director of sustainability of Grupo Bimbo, and Rafael Maman, vice president of strategy and technology for Sygnia.
