Motorcyclist dead in Central Blvd. crash: Brownsville PD

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A motorcyclist has been pronounced dead after a crash this afternoon in Brownsville, authorities say.

Brownsville Police say they are actively working the scene of a major traffic collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle.

Due to the crash, Central Blvd. is closed off from Ruben M. Torres Blvd. to Media Luna Dr.

Drivers are asked to seek alternative routes.
