Mobile toy drive helping underprivileged children

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A mobile toy drive for underprivileged children in the Rio Grande Valley is underway.

The drive, organized by a group including the Paras family and the band Popular Lon3r, aims to distribute around 1,000 to 2,000 gifts to children in low-income neighborhoods.

Participants can join the event on Dec. 23 or donate gifts without monetary contributions. The gifts are color-coded by gender and age for efficient distribution.

The organizers encourage businesses and individuals to donate and share the Christmas spirit.
