Early voting for runoff happening in Weslaco

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Early voting is happening in Hidalgo County for a runoff election in the city of Weslaco.

The seat is for Commissioner At-Large. Dominic A. Reyna and Pete Garcia Jr. are the candidates seeking this office. Early voting runs through Dec. 10.

As of Tuesday, 365 people have cast their votes in the runoff. The voting location is the Weslaco Business Visitor and Event Center, located at 275 S. Kansas Ave.

Voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election day is Dec. 14.
