When authorities arrived with the search warrant, investigators seized individually packaged baggies of a white powdery substance that later tested positive for cocaine.

Investigators determined the cocaine was prepared for sale and distribution because of how it was packaged.

Fernandez was interviewed by investigators and confessed to ownership of the drugs and his plans to distribute them by selling them.
