CBP: Man wanted for aggravated assault of child arrested at Progreso Port of Entry

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man wanted for aggravated assault of a child was arrested at the Progreso Port of Entry, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced.

On Wednesday, CBP officers at the Donna International Bridge referred a driver, identified as Jesus Antonio Limon, 41, for a secondary inspection.

McAllen police search for man accused of stealing car

According to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, officers verified Limon's identity during the inspection. They revealed he had an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated sexual assault-continuous sexual abuse of a child issued by the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office.

The release added, CBP officers turned Limon over to Hidalgo County deputies for adjudication of the warrant.
