Black Bear Diner officially opens in Harlingen

Two years since its announcement, Black Bear Diner has officially opened in Harlingen.

The family-dining restaurant famous for its home-style comfort foods is located at 6707 W. Expressway 83.

Back in November 2022, a spokesperson for the company confirmed Harlingen would be the home for Black Bear Diner’s third location in the Valley, but couldn’t reveal the location or timeline for when the diner would open at the time.

The other two locations are in Brownsville and McAllen. The Harlingen location marks Black Bear Diner’s 25th location overall in Texas.

Black Bear Diner is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
