Acting Gov. Dan Patrick updates preparation for Tropical Storm Beryl's landfall

AUSTIN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Acting Governor Dan Patrick is hosting a press conference to update preparations for Tropical Storm Beryl's landfall.

Patrick and the Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd are holding the meeting in Austin.

On Friday morning, Patrick issued disaster declarations for 39 counties, including Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, and Willacy, in preparation for this potential storm.

On Saturday, Patrick added 81 more Texas Counties to the disaster declaration.
