Woman arrested in connection to separate stabbing incidents in Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A woman is in custody in connection to two separate stabbing incidents in Edinburg, police say.

At around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, at the Bicentennial Park located on 2202 W. Sprague St, an Edinburg police officer was waved down in reference to a stabbing. The suspect attempted to stab a juvenile, according to an Edinburg Police Department news release.

At 8:42 p.m. on this same night, officers responded to 1603 W. University Dr. regarding another stabbing.

Upon arrival they observed an adult female, along with her juvenile daughter had sustained injuries during an aggravated robbery, authorities said.

The victims were transported to an Edinburg hospital for further medical examination.

Man charged in deadly 5-vehicle crash arrested after missing court date

The suspect fled the area on foot and an immediate search was launched.

The suspect was captured and investigators have identified it to be 25-year-old Kassandra Krska.

Police say that Krska was involved in both alleged assaults.
