HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — William Yancey, a history lecturer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, is on his way to the finals in tonight's episode of Jeopardy Second Chance Competition.
Yancey made his first appearance on Jeopardy in September.
He returned to the show's Second Chance Competition on Monday and won.
Yancey now advances to the finals tonight, looking for a spot in the Champions Wildcard Tournament.
This two-week competition showcases 18 non-winners from 2024 with two lucky contestants heading to the 2025 Tournament of Champions.
