TxDOT: Shattered glass prompts road closure in Edinburg

The Texas Department of Transportation is warning motorists of a recent road closure in Edinburg as a result of shattered glass on the roadway. 

The northbound right lane of U.S. 281 Frontage Road at FM 2812 will be closed for about two hours, TxDOT said in a Facebook post. 

TxDOT didn’t disclose exactly how the glass ended up on the roadway.
