Suspect in fatal shooting in Primera gets $350,000 bond

The man accused in the Monday night fatal shooting in Primera made a first appearance Wednesday on a charge murder, interim Primera Police Chief James Harris said Thursday.

Tevin K. Henderson was identified as the suspect in the shooting death of 28-year-old Jesus Rodriguez.

Henderson received a $350,000 bond.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. following an argument in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 2800 block of Stuart Place Road.

The reason for the argument has not been disclosed.

Henderson allegedly shot Rodriguez once in the abdomen area. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.

Harris added that the investigation is still ongoing.
