BROWNSVILLE, Texas – It is time for the Rio Grande Valley to develop a talent attraction program, so that the best and brightest move to the region.
This is the view of Gilberto Salinas, the new CEO of the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation.
Meanwhile, Valley schools and colleges need to be producing engineers capable being in the pit crew of an F1 racing tea,.
Salinas was asked how the Valley should develop its human capital at a recent Insights Unplugged event, held at the eBridge Center for Business and Commerce. The event was cohosted by GBIC, UT-Rio Grande Valley, and the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation.
