Roma police recover vehicle from Rio Grande

ROMA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Members of the Roma Police Department along with the Roma Fire Department recovered a vehicle from the Rio Grande on Thursday afternoon.

A Roma Police Department Facebook post stated the vehicle had been involved in a vehicle pursuit and ended up in the river.

The department added that some officers are certified in swift water rescue and have several specialized skills to better serve the community.
