McAllen police search for man accused of stealing car

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen police are asking for the public's help in locating a man accused of stealing a car and wiping out another.

Josue Medrano, 35, is described as approximately 5’ 5” in height, about 130 pounds, has black hair, and brown colored eyes.  His last known address is in McAllen.

Medrano is accused of stealing a black 2020 Chevrolet Spark from the driveway of a residence on the 3600 block of Xanthisma Avenue. 

The vehicle has not been recovered.

This incident occurred at 10:20 p.m. on August 31. Twenty minutes prior to the car theft, a call came in regarding items being stolen from a blue Toyota GR86 while parked near the 5000 block of North 36^th Street.
