Police search for suspect after multiple burglaries reported in McAllen

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police are searching for a person who is accused of committing multiple burglaries in a McAllen neighborhood.

The burglaries began on Jan. 18 and have occurred through Jan. 28 in neighborhood areas by the 1000 block of E. Fern Ave.

The McAllen Police Department has shared images of the suspect caught on surveillance camera.

According to McAllen PD, the person in the images is described as a man in his 20s who weighs between 150 and 160 pounds.

Police believe the suspect's height is between 5 feet and 7 inches to 5 feet and 10 inches.

The man was seen dressed in dark clothing and wearing white shoes.
