Pipeline fire erupts in La Porte, authorities say: Evacuate

HOUSTON (KIAH) — The La Porte Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is reporting that a pipeline fire has erupted around 9:55 a.m. near the 8700 block of Spencer Highway.

La Porte Fire Department was dispatched and is recommending that the area between Luella and Canada, the Brookglen neighborhood, be evacuated. The OEM is gathering information at this time. We will keep you updated.
