On Feb. 15, 2023, meteorites landed on a ranch near the town of El Sauz and were later collected and documented by expert and amateur meteorite hunters.

The exhibit will highlight several meteorite pieces found on the ranch in state-of-the-art cases with a 360 view.

The exhibit was made possible by a grant from the Betty S. Keslo Foundation. The exhibit will be open from September 2024 to August 2025 and it is included in the regular museum admission fees.

The Museum of South Texas is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
