MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Mission, the City of McAllen and the Texas Department of Transportation held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of Phase One of the Taylor Road Reconstruction Project.

Phase One extends from Frontage Road to U.S. Business 83 and has transformed the road from two lanes to four, including a continuous left-turn lane and sidewalks on both sides.

The improvements will significantly ease traffic congestion and enhance pedestrian safety.
