EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A woman was arraigned Saturday for her alleged involvement in two stabbings, Edinburg police announced.
Kassandra Krska, 25, was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence and arson, according to a release from the Edinburg Police Department.
At 7:30 p.m. Friday, an officer was waved down at Bicentennial Park located at 2202 W. Sprague Street.
Police say the suspect, later identified as Krska, attempted to stab a teen.
At 8:42 p.m. officers responded to the 1600 block of W. University Drive regarding another stabbing incident.
At the scene, they found a woman with her daughter with several injuries caused during an aggravated assault. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
According to the release, Krska fled the scene on foot before police arrived and an immediate search began. She was arrested moments later.
Krska was arraigned Saturday at the Edinburg Municipal Court. She was issued a bond of $1,150,000.
