Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash in Harlingen

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A motorcyclist was taken to a hospital following a vehicle accident on the expressway, authorities said.

The accident occurred late Sunday morning on the northbound Harlingen to McAllen Flyover at the Harlingen Interchange.

Larry Moore, public information officer for the Harlingen Police Department, told ValleyCentral the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Additionally, Rafael Balderas, fire chief with the Harlingen Fire Department, said there was a group of motorcyclists on the expressway,  however only one was involved in the accident.
