Citizen Alert: New Security and Alcohol Regulations for Event Centers
The Commission will consider a significant ordinance amendment to regulate alcohol sales and BYOB policies at event centers, including new requirements for licensed security officers based on venue occupancy.

- Public Hearing: Rezoning request for 1000 and 1004 N. Holland Avenue from Single-family Residential (R-1) to Duplex-fourplex Residential (R-2).
- Public Hearing: Rezoning request for 2425 W. U.S. Expressway 83 from Single-family Residential (R-1) to Office Building District (C-1).
- Public Hearing: Rezoning of approximately 26 acres near N. Trosper Road from Duplex-fourplex Residential (R-2) to Single-family Residential (R-1).
- Conditional Use Permit: Mobile Food Unit (Café Allegro) at 200 E. Griffin Parkway.
- Conditional Use Permit: Construction of a pool house at 1615 Heritage Lane.
- Conditional Use Permit: Bar and on-site alcohol consumption for Sidelines Bar & Grill at 608 N. Shary Road.
- Conditional Use Permit Renewal: Mobile Food Unit (Pepe Noches) at 1726 W. Griffin Parkway.
- Unfinished Business: Ordinance amendment regarding alcohol at event centers and establishing security officer requirements based on maximum occupancy.
