Mission City Manager announces retirement

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Mission City Manager, Randy Perez announced his retirement.

After five years of working as Mission City Manager, Perez announced his retirement Thursday.

"We are grateful to Randy for the years of dedicated service and commitment to the residents and families of Mission, and for his leadership and guidance as he oversaw city administration and the implementation of important policy decisions that we make as City Council," said Mayor Norie Gonzalez Garza.

Perez was appointed as City Manager in 2019 and began his retirement processes in late 2023.

The city has not released any additional details regarding Perez's retirement.
