Presentations and Public Hearings

• Presentation of a donation from Walmart to the Friends of the Speer Memorial Library.
• Public hearings for rezoning requests at Shary Road and Sunset Lane, 1403 N. Shary Road, and 801 E. 12th Street.
• Consideration of Conditional Use Permits (CUP) for two electric vehicle charging stations at 801 N. Bryan Road and a portable building for a photography studio at 1547 W. Business Highway 83.
• CUP requests for a mobile food unit (Elote Fiesta Snacks) and an event center (Monster House).
• Consideration of CUPs for the sale and on-site consumption of alcoholic beverages at Oriental Wok Restaurant and Carnes Asadas Nuevo Leon Restaurant.

Consent Agenda and Action Items

• Authorization to submit grant applications for Operation Stonegarden ($300,000), Click It or Ticket ($8,000), and Operation Slow Down ($8,000).
• Ratification of $317,600 in emergency repairs for lift stations at Bryan Road/Expressway 83 and Rosalinda Street.
• Consideration of a Development Agreement with Vanguard Academy for the construction of a Public Charter School (Vanguard Academy-Monet Campus) on 19.10 acres.
• Second reading of an ordinance granting a non-exclusive franchise to AEP Texas through December 31, 2045.
• Approval of a Municipal Court Amnesty Program to be held during March 2026.
• Consideration of an Annexation Service Agreement for 5.539 acres located north of US Expressway 83 on Moorefield Road.
