Missing SPI girl found overseas, family reports

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A three year-old girl who went missing back in July from South Padre Island has been found and is on her way back to the Rio Grande Valley, a family spokesperson told ValleyCetral.

Rilee Crouch has been missing since July 2 when her father, Dakota Crouch, returned her back home to her mother.

Just two days later, when he went to pick her up, both his daughter and the child’s mother were gone. The two were allegedly in the middle of a custody battle for their daughter.

A spokesperson for the family said Rilee was kidnapped from SPI and was found in Turkey.

The child is arriving in Harlingen this evening with the FBI, according to her family.
