McAllen Holiday Parade announces celebrity guests

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen Holiday Parade has been a lasting tradition in South Texas for 11 years and this year's date is officially set!

The McAllen Holiday Parade will take place Dec. 7 and this year's theme is Noche Magica.

"This is an event for families," said Marsha Green, Vice President of Marketing for the Bert Ogden Auto Group. "It's a memory builder and I am so pro about giving children great beautiful wonderful memories and it pulls together the Valley. It puts the RGV on the map."

The McAllen Holiday Parade is the largest helium parade in the state and the only one of its kind in the Rio Grande Valley.

Celebrity guests Julian Gil and Mario Lopez will be back in attendance this year to host the remarkable parade.

Gil is an Argentinian native and truly loves and cares for the people of McAllen.

He is an actor, model, producer and host featured in numerous novelas.
