Man found bloody and injured in Cameron Park, deputies say

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Authorities are investigating after a man was found injured in Cameron Park.

At 8:37 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the 2400 block of Delia Avenue to assist Brownsville EMS regarding an injured man, a release from the Cameron County Sheriff's Office stated.

At the scene, deputies saw the man with blood on his arms and body. Brownsville EMS later arrived at the scene and provided medical care.

Due to the man's injuries, the man was taken to a hospital for further medical evaluation, the release stated.

Cameron County Sheriff's investigators arrived at the scene and later learned the incident occurred at the 2200 block of Delia Avenue. The crime scene was later evaluated, according to authorities.

This is an ongoing investigation.
