Laguna Madre VetFest returns after a successful year

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Due to the success of their August 2023 event, Laguna Madre VetFest returns on Feb. 29 to the Port Isabel Event and Cultural Center.

Veterans who are residents of the Laguna Madre are invited, as are all veterans who are visiting the area during the winter, free of charge.

The event will feature exhibitors offering products and services geared toward veterans. Participating exhibitors will include organizations that were not at the first event.

"The word got out in the veteran community, and the response has been very positive,” stated Executive Director, Amy Robinson. “There are so many organizations here in the RGV that are eager to help veterans, and they’ve been contacting us about participating at the next VetFest.”
