Isla Blanca Park adjust hours in preparation for SpaceX flight

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Isla Blanca Park will adjust its operation hours in preparation for the SpaceX flight activities.

The park will close at 8 p.m. starting on Wednesday, March 13 and all park visitors will be asked to leave no later than 9 p.m.

Only current RV Park Campers will be allowed to remain at the park and have access to the campsite, according to a release from Cameron County Parks and Recreation.

The park will re-open at 3 a.m.

Cameron County Parks and Recreation expects many visitors and asks those attending to follow all park rules and flag advisories.

Visitors are asked not to walk, stand or sit on the sand dunes.
