HSCO: 2 men arrested following drug seizure

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two men were arrested following a drug seizure, the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office announced.

On Friday morning Hidalgo County Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at the 2400 block of Grande Street.

According to a news release from HCSO, during the search, authorities discovered narcotics and weapons.

Donna residents Dimas Cedillo Treviño, 51, and Jose Escobedo Jr., 52, are facing drug charges. Additionally, Escobedo is being charged with evading arrest.

Both men were booked at the Hidalgo County Adult Detention Center.
