SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- Experience the breathtaking views of South Padre Island, Space-X and the Gulf of Mexico at Redline Helicopter Tours.

Open everyday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Redline sees a variety of customers, from local Rio Grande Valley-native to tourists across the globe.

Redline offers multiple flight packages. 'SpaceX' is the most popular and what they are known for. The 18-22 minute flight takes customers to see both the rapidly growing SpaceX Starbase and all of South Padre Island from the air.

Other flight packages include 'Fly the Beach,' 'All of Padre' and 'Rockets and Battleships.' With so many options to choose from, the one constant for Redline is the joy each and every customer has flying.

Mexico City native Mary Alice Andrade said, "Everybody should get on it. It’s amazing. It’s such a liberating experience. It's definitely worth it, every penny. It’s just a bucket list, a must-do in life, and here on the island, I think it’s the best spot to do it."

RGV natives Zeke Reyes and Eddie Garza added, "It was a little nerve-wracking but fun, like really, really fun. It was our first time being in a helicopter, and it was an experience, for sure."

Even employees at Redline are in awe of the views the tours provide. Redline employee Diego Najera said, "For me growing up on the island, I’ve never seen some of the angles and some of the beauty of the nature and the pockets of water. It's really cool to see."

Spencer Johnson is one of Redline Helicopter Tours' pilots. Manning the cockpit almost every day, Johnson has seen it all from customers who decide to fly Redline.

From nerves to thrills, Johnson ensures all customers have a safe time and also a fun time.

"I try to joke around with them, like, 'Hey, we’re only going to do one loop de-loop instead of two or three,'" Johnson said. "That always breaks the ice a little bit, but it’s really cool just getting to share this experience and show what the island really has to hold for everybody down here."
