Homicide investigation underway in McAllen

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A homicide investigation is underway in McAllen after a man died Thursday.

McAllen police are investigating the death of a man at the 2000 block of Houston Avenue.

Police told ValleyCentral the investigation began at 9:36 a.m. Thursday, and it is believed to be a homicide.

A Justice of the Peace has ordered an autopsy, and the identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
