Harlingen PD looking for details on auto-pedestrian crash

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Harlingen police are asking for the public's help on an auto-pedestrian crash Friday night.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. a woman was struck by a vehicle on the 300 block of North Business 77, according to a release.

The vehicle involved fled the scene. The condition of the woman is unknown at this time.

Police say the scene is still active and southbound Business 77 to Jefferson Street to Harrison is blocked. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
