Now’s the time.
The Edinburg Municipal Court will be offering community members the opportunity to settle any outstanding fines or fees during its amnesty program.
The program will begin Monday and run through March 31.
During that time any resident with a class C misdemeanor, such as an outstanding traffic citation or warrant, can pay those fines or make arrangements to pay without additional fees.
In order to qualify for the program residents must appear in person at the Edinburg Municipal Court, located at 100 E. Freddy Gonzalez Drive.
The court is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Any failure to appear charges will be waived for those who go voluntarily.
For more information about any pending traffic citations, call (956) 318-8819 or (956) 289-7791.
