Drunk woman shows up to man's home, assaults him, deputies say

OLMITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Cameron County deputies arrested a woman who allegedly poured alcohol on a man and pushed him several times.

Isabel De Luna, 49, was charged with assault, according to a news release from the Cameron County Sheriff's Office.

On Wednesday, Aug. 7, deputies responded to an assault at the 9100 block of Palmito Street.

At the scene, deputies spoke with a man who reported De Luna had shown up to his residence highly intoxicated and began an argument.

The release stated, the argument led to De Luna assaulting him. According to the release, De Luna had poured alcohol on him and pushed him multiple times.

When deputies approached her, they said she had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her breath.

She was arrested and booked into the Carrizalez Rucker Detention Center.
