Donna police arrest Waco man wanted for homicide

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man with an active warrant for homicide in Bellmead was arrested, authorities say.

On Saturday morning, the Donna Police Department received a message from the Weslaco Police Department regarding a possible wanted fugitive, according to a news release.

The release stated the fugitive was staying at the Texas Inn, located on the 2000 block of E. Frontage Road.

Donna police, alongside the U.S. Marshall service, confirmed that 39-year-old, Waco resident Armando Casiano Jr. had an active homicide warrant from the Bellmead Police Department.

Casiano was arrested in his hotel room and pending extradition.
