Brownsville police search for man involved in Stripes robbery

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police are searching for a person of interest involved in an aggravated robbery.

The incident occurred on June 15 at a Stripes located at the 1100 block of International Boulevard, a social media post from the Brownsville Police Department stated.

Police say, a man approached the clerk and claimed he had a handgun underneath a towel in his hand. He then demanded four packs of cigarettes, which were handed to him by the clerk.
