Brownsville PD: 1 wanted for laundromat burglary, escaped through roof

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police are searching for man who allegedly committed a burglary at a laundromat.

The burglary happened on July 31 at a laundromat located on Kee Street in Brownsville.

According to police, the person of interest is said to have entered through the roof of a laundromat, causing heavy structural damages.

The person of interest allegedly took $200 from the cash register.

When the alarm sounded off, the man climbed back up into the roof and left before authorities arrived, police say.

Police have yet to identify or locate the person of interest.
