74th Annual Scout Government Day

• The City Commission will convene for the 74th Annual Brownsville Scout Government Day at the City Commission Chambers in the Federal Building.
• A quorum of the City Commission may be present; however, no formal action, deliberation, or official city business will be conducted by the Commission.
• Honorable Gabriela Garcia will administer the Oath of Office to the honorary Scout Mayor and Scout Commissioners.
• Interim City Manager Alan Guard will present a State of the City update to the event participants.
• Scout participants will be assigned work duties and will consider a resolution regarding city improvements based on their observations and reports.
• The public may attend in person or via the Webex teleconference platform.
