2-day goalkeeper summer camp for beginners and advanced set for June

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Hidalgo County Pct. 2 is offering a free Goalkeeper Summer Camp on June 15 and 16.

This is open to Hidalgo County residents ages 6 years and up and training is given from basic to the advanced level.

Topics covered include:

• fundamentals
• handling
• feet work
• 1v1
• positioning
• distribution
• shot stopping
• GK games

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, June 16 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the sports complex located at 3600 Athol St. in Pharr.
