Weslaco Chamber of Commerce celebrates National Small Business Week

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate National Small Business Week from April 29 through May 4.

According to the Weslaco Chamber, they will be kicking off the week with a Morning Networking Breakfast sponsored by Reyna’s BBQ & Cocina Weslaco.

There will be a variety of networking opportunities for small business owners and local organizations.

Additionally, a networking lunch at Nana’s Taqueria on May 1, a job fair on May 2, and two Ribbon Cuttings on May 3 and 4.

The chamber invites the community to celebrate small businesses by showing support, shopping locally, spreading the word, and championing the dreamers and doers behind every small business.

• Tuesday-Wednesday: FREE Virtual Summit hosted by U.S. SBA and SCORE
• 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024-Networking Lunch at Nana’s Taqueria
• 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024- Weslaco Job Fair at Knapp Conference Center
• 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024-Ribbon Cutting: Grandma Nelly’s Learning Center
• 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024-Ribbon Cutting: El Puerquito Feliz
