Wembanyama expected to miss remainder of Spurs season due to blood clot

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Victor Wembanyama is expected to miss the rest of the 2024-2025 season for the San Antonio Spurs, according to the teams X page.

Wembanyama was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder.

His condition was discovered when he returned to San Antonio following the All-Star game in San Francisco, California.

The Spurs said they would provide updates on Wembanyama as they see appropriate.
