BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Software developer and entrepreneur Steve Perez wants to see a far more robust logistics cluster established in the Brownsville/Matamoros area.
To that end his company, Velox Global Solutions, has developed what Perez calls a “universal connector” for the data sets maquiladora companies need to show in order to cross finished goods and raw materials through international ports of entry.
The product, to be called “Maquila Now,” is set to launch in January, 2025.
The Rio Grande Guardian International News Service caught up with Perez at the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization in downtown Brownsville.
