ValleyCentral participates in ugly sweater bowling tournament

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — ValleyCentral participated in the third annual It's Gonna Get Ugly Bowling Tournament.

Participants of the charity event were encouraged to wear ugly sweaters while bowling.

The proceeds from the event went to the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley.

Sally Fraustro Guerra, President of the American Advertising Federation, said this year a lot of people came out to participate due to the cause.

"They feel good about giving back to the community," Guerra said.

The tournament is competitive and the winners do get bragging rights for having the best team and ugliest sweaters!
