Valley Symphony Orchestra to host Symphony in the Park

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — To kick off the Sunset Live Concert Series The Valley Symphony Orchestra is hosting the Symphony in the Park.

The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 5 at the McAllen Convention Center Oval Park. The event is free, family-friendly and open to the community.

There will be food, vendors and activities throughout the concert.

The concert will feature a string quartet rendition of some of the most popular anime themes to gear up for the South Texas Comic Con: Anime Fiesta Convention.

The event will then be followed by a wind quintet performing various Halloween themes to bring in the spooky spirit.

The concert will be headlined by Mastero Peter Debrowski and a 21-member group, who will perform various pieces from popular classic artists such as The Beatles, Santana, Prince and others.
