UTRGV professor, Jeopardy Second Chance champion speaks on journey

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — William Yancey, a history lecturer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, is on his way to the semifinals of the Champions Wildcard Tournament on Jeopardy.

Yancey gave ValleyCentral an exclusive interview on what his experience on the show was like.

He says he has been watching Jeopardy since he was 13 years old and did quiz bowls as a middle, high school and college student.

Yancey says the support he has received from the Valley has been incredible.
